ICLEI150 Cities Race to Zero: Race to Zero is a global campaign established by United Nations Climate and UK COP26 Climate Champions during Fall 2021 to rally ambitious leadership from all sectors of society — businesses, cities, regions, investors — to secure a future of warming that exceeds no more than 1.5 °C.
Mountain Towns 2030: MT2030 is a movement of cities, towns, and counties, elected officials, business leaders, ski resorts, nonprofits, and community leaders – uniting diverse stakeholders in mountain and outdoor communities and working together to address an issue that demands our collective strength.
McClure Climate and Economy Study: Blaine County was the first county in Idaho to take part in the University of Idaho’s McClure Center’s Climate-Economy Impacts Assessment. The study assesses the links between our changing climate, the economy, and impacts on entire communities in Idaho.
National Association of Counties Resilient Counties Initiative: NACo works to strengthen county resiliency by building leadership capacity to identify and manage risk, and allow counties to become more flexible and responsive. NACo encourages use of sustainable practices and infrastructure to better prepare and address these issues in a manner that can minimize the impact on local residents and businesses while helping counties save money.
SolSmart: SolSmart is a national program that recognizes cities and counties for making it faster, easier, and more affordable to go solar.
Urban Sustainability Directors Network: USDN strives to create equitable, resilient, and sustainable communities by advancing the field of local government sustainability and equipping practitioners to be catalysts of transformative change.
